OVERVIEW: Our client is a Perth based property landlord with a significant commercial, industrial and retail portfolio. They have over thirty years’ experience in design, development, leasing and management of commercial property and are known for their premium designs and construction. As you will be working landlord side, you will gain exposure to all stages of the property lifecycle — from development and day-to-day management to long-term asset upgrades, so this role would be perfect for someone who also has a keen interest in commercial property development. This role could also incorporate leasing if that is something that interests you - it can be tailored to you! Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage annual property budgets Process all property accounts using Cirrus8 software Complete annual reconciliations and audits Build and maintain strong tenant relationships Manage and lease property vacancies Conduct rent reviews and negotiate lease renewals Handle lease agreements and ensure timely renewals Manage arrears and ensure timely rental payments Assist in the development of new build projects and refurbishments Assist the Facilities Management team in projects Ensure all properties meet Health & Safety compliance Appoint, coordinate, and monitor contractors Conduct regular property inspections and prepare detailed reports What We’re Looking For: Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial/industrial property management Proficiency with Cirrus8 or similar property management software Solid understanding of property legislation, lease administration, and trust accounting principles Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt and engage professionally Confident decision-making and the ability to independently manage a significant portfolio Current Property Management Registration Valid Police Clearance Own vehicle and WA driver’s licence If you would like to hear more, call Mallory Perkins on 0493 247 029 or mallory@castrecruitment.com.au or Paige Drummond on 0447 596 028 or send your CV to paige.drummond@castrecruitment.com.au Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
