Location & Relocation
Full‑time, stationary opportunity in Yellowknife near Franklin Ave & 51St.
Candidates outside the Yellowknife region must be willing to immediately relocate upon hire.

Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
* Conduct facility mechanical and electrical equipment and system monitoring and inspection.
* Record resolution data within service maintenance management database.
* Respond to routine and on‑demand service requests.
* Maintain, troubleshoot and repair building systems and equipment.
* Assist in the implementation of the preventative maintenance (PM) program.
* Ensure work meets quality, contract response and all other requirements.
* Assist in facility‑related projects.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, fire protection and other applicable requirements.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* HVAC Journeyperson certification
* Millwright Journeyperson certification
* Plumber Journeyperson certification
* Gas ticket considered a strong asset
Work Requirements
Must be willing to wear personal protective equipment; perform work in accordance with established processes and practices; comply with all internal and external requirements including environmental, health and safety, fire protection.
Knowledge & Skills
* More than 3 years of facility operations and maintenance work experience
* High school diploma plus trades training, certification or licensing
* Strong ability to adhere to and properly execute processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance
* Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical building systems and equipment
* Strong building mechanical and electrical equipment and system troubleshooting and resolution skills
* Current knowledge of fire, life, safety and building codes and standards and ability to research and apply related codes and standards
* Possesses a strong environmental, health and safety mindset
* Strong ability to perform work in a safe manner
* Strong client‑service orientation with a high sense of urgency
* Effective communication skills for data relay, exchange, feedback and clarification
