The Role Toll People are currently seeking experienced HC drivers for our client based in Arndell Park and Chullora. Drivers will be expected to have a strong focus on safety, compliance and to make deliveries in a safe and timely manner. Experience with load restraint and/or steel is advantageous but not essential. Pay Rate: $46.77 per hour Key Responsibilities Delivery of steel products Safe loading of steel plates, coils and other materials Load restraint using chains, dogs and ratchet straps Carry out all duties within set time frames and following all instructions Ensure correct, secure and safe loading of vehicles using dog and chains Complete and supply mandatory run sheet information in the format required Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times Comply with all WHS regulations and driving hour legislation Skills & Experience Current HC Licence (must provide RTA printout) Minimum 2 year of professional HC truck driving experience Confident and competent in reversing Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Good numeracy skills Previous steel-handling experience (advantageous but not essential) Load restraint experience with chains and straps preferred; willingness to learn is essential Benefits Great hourly rates Casual ongoing 5 days per week Day shift available Training provided Temp to perm opporunity Arndell Park and Chullora location available About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
