Position Overview:

The Project Manager will lead multi‑project programs across the mining and critical infrasture segment in large‑scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), industrial electrification, and data centre infrastructure in Western Australia.

This role oversees strategic planning, governance, resource management, commercial performance, and overall delivery excellence.

The role serves as the primary interface with executive stakeholders, major mining operators, EPC partners, engineering teams, and contractors, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements and responsibilities of the role:

* Manage end‑to‑end project activities, resources, and schedules to meet customer SLAs, contractual milestones, budget, scope, and quality requirements.
* Maintain accurate project documentation, plans, reports, and stakeholder communications.
* Identify and manage risks, issues, changes, and dependencies impacting project delivery.
* Ensure Services, supply chain, and contractors meet operational, safety, and compliance standards.
* Translate project requirements into actionable workstreams, set timelines, and coordinate execution.
* Provide regular performance reporting to management, including SLA/KPI tracking and contractual reporting.
* Act as the primary escalation point for technical, quality, or construction‑related issues.
* Liaise with customer stakeholders across all levels to capture requirements and manage expectations.
* Lead and coordinate Designers, Engineers, Site Supervisors, and third‑party contractors from design to deployment and lifecycle
* Conduct site construction planning and interfaces prior to mobilisation.
* Prepare quotations and support commercial assessments based on project requirements.
* Oversee safety leadership, QA/QC engagement, materials management, and verification processes.
* Monitor workforce productivity, schedule progress, and environmental/EIA compliance.
* Manage project budgets, variations, and contractor‑initiated field changes (scope, cost, schedule).
* Coordinate logistics for BOM delivery, resolve material shortfalls, and ensure plant/equipment readiness.

Qualifications for the role:

Education:

Required:

* Engineering Degree

Desired:

* Frontline management
* Project Management Certification

Job Experience:

Required:

* 5+ years in project management within industrial or critical infrastructure
* Managing subcontractors and internal resources
* Contract management

Technical/ Professional skills:

Required:

* Large/complex project scheduling (MS Project or similar)
* Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
* Strong understanding of installation methodologies for critical infrastructure
* Advanced MS PowerPoint & Excel
* Customer‑focused relationship management

Mobility:

* Regular customer office and site travel
* Overseas travel as required
* Required Australian Driver's License
