Lead Operations Specialist
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to manage the day-to-day operations of our specialist disability accommodation program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational and people leadership to a team of Support Workers, as well as coordinating rosters, managing budgets, and liaising with resident families.
The role requires exceptional leadership and people skills, including building effective relationships, outstanding communication, and time management. To succeed in this position, you will need:
* A background as a Team Leader in supported accommodation services, preferably in the disability sector.
* Relevant qualifications: Certificate IV Disability or higher.
* Excellent Communication skills, ability to build relationships with staff, families, and other stakeholders.
* Outstanding time management, planning, and organizing the team to provide person-centered care.
* Demonstrated ability to manage critical incidents and escalate when required, ensuring best practice client care.
* Skilled in providing direct personal care to individuals with disabilities and complex care requirements.
* Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
* Current Working with Children's Check and NDIS Screening Clearance.
