Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced retail professional to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
About the Role
* Support the Store Manager in driving category performance and supervising sales teams to ensure great customer experiences.
* Drive sales goal attainment and provide real-time performance coaching to drive overall Burberry Experience and Burberry Behaviours.
Responsibilities
1. Lead sales associates to improve overall selling skills and close sales to achieve sales goals and KPIs.
2. Work with the Store Manager to drive sales for assigned categories, including sell-through and team training.
3. Lead a high-performing customer-facing team that provides excellent service and delivers the Burberry Experience.
4. Manage customer flow to ensure excellent service and no client is left unattended.
5. Coach and develop sales associates to improve their skills and performance.
6. Resolve difficult customer issues and escalate to management when necessary.
7. In absence of store management, responsible for processing post-void transactions and authorizing promotional discounts.
8. Drive the digital experience in-store and use digital resources to communicate with customers.
Requirements
* Advanced knowledge of POS systems.
* Able to handle complex customer service issues.
* Fluent and professional dialogue with clients and staff.
* Previous experience with Apple mobile devices and digital tools.
* 1-2 years supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
