* Base salary in the range of $80,448.78 - $107,104.10 + 17% Superannuation (Academic Level A)

About This Opportunity
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to conduct research into polymers for the manufacture of computer chips. The project is supported by the Australian Research Council Linkage Project “Innovative Double Patterning Strategies for Integrated Circuit Manufacture” and is within the Whittaker Polymer Chemistry Group of the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), in partnership with Tokyo Electron America, Inc. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise and research profile in advanced polymer chemistry within an industry context. The position involves contributing to service and engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research:
* Develop and test new polymers for advanced manufacture of computer chips.
* Publish high-quality research outputs.
* Apply for competitive research funding.
* Collaborate on joint research projects and funding applications.
* Translate research into knowledge, technology, and practices, including commercialization.
* Develop a coherent research program and profile.
* Utilize best practice research methodologies.
* Supervision and Development:
* Supervise Honours and HDR students and research staff.
* Provide performance feedback, training, and conflict resolution.
* Citizenship and Service:
* Develop partnerships and demonstrate leadership.
* Engage in internal service roles, committees, and administrative functions.

* Experience in synthesizing complex polymers.
* Expertise in polymer characterization techniques.
