HR Generalist Role
We are seeking an experienced HR generalist to join our team. As a key member of the People, Safety, Learning and Culture team, you will work collaboratively with the Senior HR Advisor to deliver consistent, values-driven HR support across client areas.
This is a generalist role with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and workforce retention.
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with the Senior HR Advisor to ensure cohesive HR practices across the site.
* Provide day-to-day HR support in recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
* Support performance management, grievances, and low-risk employee relations matters.
* Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement.
* Implement HR initiatives and systems aligned with organisational strategy.
* Act as a trusted on-site HR presence, offering timely advice and support to managers and team members.
* Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
* Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement, communication, and wellbeing initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience in an HR Advisor or Generalist role, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or NFP sectors.
* Qualifications in Human Resources (preferred).
* Strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to build trusted relationships and demonstrate sound judgement.
* Advanced knowledge of HRIS (ELMO and iChris desirable).
