Role Overview
The Senior Manager – Business Development is responsible for driving growth by identifying, evaluating, and converting new business opportunities in residential and commercial real estate. The role demands a proactive, strategic thinker who can generate leads, build relationships with investors and channel partners, and lead client engagements. With 12 years of experience and an MBA qualification, the ideal candidate brings a strong network, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver revenue and business targets consistently.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Opportunity Identification
* Scan the market for potential business opportunities, JVs, land acquisitions, and partnerships.
* Identify high-potential clients and investment leads through market intelligence and networking.
* Drive sales targets through strategic account management and business development activities.
* Convert leads into closures by creating tailored solutions for clients and investors.
3. Client & Investor Engagement
* Maintain strong relationships with HNIs, NRIs, institutional clients, and corporate investors.
* Represent the organization in B2B meetings, investor events, exhibitions, and roadshows.
* Build and manage a network of brokers, channel partners, and sales associates.
* Conduct partner onboarding, training, and performance tracking.
5. Proposal & Presentation Development
* Create compelling business presentations, investment decks, and client-specific proposals.
* Collaborate with marketing and project teams for technical inputs and visuals.
6. Negotiation & Deal Closure
* Lead commercial negotiations, terms finalization, and closure of business deals.
* Work with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and proper documentation.
7. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
* Analyze competitor strategies, pricing models, and market positioning.
* Share insights with senior leadership to refine product and pricing strategies.
8. Internal Coordination & Reporting
* Liaise with cross-functional teams for end-to-end execution of deals.
* Prepare regular sales and business development performance reports for management.
Technical Skills
* Strong understanding of real estate sales, land acquisition, and investment deal structures.
* Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and presentation tools.
* Familiarity with RERA guidelines, property documentation, and compliance.
* Financial and business acumen for feasibility assessments and ROI calculations.

Qualifications & Experience
* Education: MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Development.
