**About the role**:
You will provide customers, their families and other stakeholders with information about our services, schedule assessments and respond promptly to all enquiries relating to the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). You will also provide an efficient intake experience and deliver an excellent customer service with the aim to grow our client base and promote our services. You will be comfortable managing high call volumes, customer issues and finding solutions to unexpected challenges that arise.
To complete the successful intake of customers, you will ensure all documentation is received and processed accurately within our system. Your day will mostly be on the phone managing high volumes of customer queries but also working with internal teams to ensure we meet our clients individual care goals.
We can offer a hybrid model of working from home mostly with intermittent days working from a shared space. It's a 12 month arrangement (cover for maternity leave) with potential to extend or go permanent.
**About you**:
- Ideally, you will have experience working in a similar role within aged care or community services industry.
- Previous experience in a phone-based sales role or similar would be advantageous.
- Attention to detail, strong time management skills, and confidence in using computer systems to an advanced level.
- Previous customer service and service coordination experience.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, particularly over the phone.
- A professional, friendly and clear phone manner.
- Strong empathy and influencing skills.
- A positive problem-solver with a passion for helping people.
