Job Description
* Grow client's presence across hospitality, retail, and food‐service channels through proactive business development.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and multi‐site customers.
* Identify new business opportunities, convert leads, and expand category penetration across key markets.
* Manage your own territory pipeline, including reporting, forecasting, and tracking sales performance.
* Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and category conversations to support customer needs.
* Provide product knowledge, pricing insights, and support to help partners maximise sell‐through.
* Collaborate with internal teams across operations, customer service, and procurement to support customer outcomes.
* Represent our client at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
* Travel within your region to maintain strong customer and distributor relationships.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven sales or business development experience within hospitality, retail, food‐service, or wholesale channels.
* Strong background selling through distributors and engaging with decision‐makers in hospo/retail environments.
* Commercially focused with strong negotiation and relationship‐building skills.
* Able to work autonomously, manage a territory, and drive consistent sales activity.
* Comfortable presenting to customers and supporting them with product knowledge and category guidance.
* Understanding of packaging, consumables, or FMCG‐adjacent industries is highly beneficial.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
