HCD Graduate Role Description
The HCD graduate will play a vital role in supporting agencies to integrate and uplift human-centred design project planning, training activities, and implementation of human-centred design solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of interpersonal and liaison skills, empathy, and the ability to be innovative and deliver ideas. They should also possess strong organisational skills, problem-solving skills, and effective communication and time management skills.
* researching and developing human-centred design tools, guides, and training offerings
* collaborating with teams to create and deliver high-quality standards for a whole-of-government human-centred design approach
* conducting research to inform the creation of Queensland Government specific human-centred design case studies
* participating in service design workshops for user experiences for responsive web, apps, or other digital interfaces
* developing user flows, mock-up prototypes, and style guides
* coordinating human-centred design training courses and projects
* communicating with stakeholders regarding human-centred design initiatives
* representing the team with a positive and professional working culture.
