About the role:
As our Project Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of major projects across the City. From planning and design through to construction and completion, you'll manage diverse projects that improve infrastructure and enhance the environment for our residents and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading end-to-end project management, including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
* Preparing and managing tender and contract documentation.
* Overseeing contractor performance and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Liaising with stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, community groups, and Council.
* Providing technical advice and contributing to long-term infrastructure planning.
What you'll bring to the role:
We're seeking a proactive and results-driven professional who can demonstrate the following:
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Contract Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in infrastructure and / or building construction project management.
* Strong contract administration skills and experience managing large-scale projects.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Pre-employment requirements:
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
* Current C Class Drivers Licence.
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
* Construction Awareness White Card.
* Ability to meet pre-employment medical requirements
