Overview
We're supporting a Federal Government agency seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a key digital delivery environment. This role is responsible for providing technical leadership across solution design, integration, and cloud-enabled systems, ensuring architecture aligns with business needs and modern engineering practices. You'll work across complex environments spanning cloud, APIs, enterprise platforms, and application delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Design high‐level solution architectures aligned to business and technical requirements.
* Lead the design of secure and scalable APIs for system integration.
* Support the development of customer and staff portals, including Dynamics365 environments.
* Oversee creation and maintenance of technical and public‐facing documentation.
* Ensure effective use of MicrosoftAzure cloud services and cloud‐native patterns.
* Support containerised solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
* Collaborate with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture designs.
* Stay across emerging technologies and continuously improve architectural standards.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect on large‐scale programmes.
* Strong experience with MicrosoftAzure and Dynamics365.
* Background in secure API design and integration architecture.
* Experience with cloud‐native and containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
* Strong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership capability.
* Tertiary qualification in ComputerScience, SoftwareEngineering or related field.
Additional Requirements
* Must be able to obtain baseline security clearance.
* Full‐time: 40 hours per week.
* Hybrid working – 2 days per week in office.
