Coordinator Volunteer Services
The Coordinator Volunteer Services leads the development, implementation, evaluation and promotion of Volunteer Services and programs across the hospital, ensuring effective and high-quality support from volunteers within the hospital.
The Role
This permanent part-time position involves:
* Developing and implementing policies, procedures, job descriptions and performance review systems to support the volunteer program;
* Recruiting, selecting and orienting volunteers in accordance with accreditation and legislation requirements;
* Maintaining a register of volunteers and supervising their functions and administration matters;
* Supporting patient care through the volunteer program;
* Marketing and administering the volunteer service within St John of God Bunbury Hospital.
You will have previous experience in coordinating volunteers, including recruitment, training and support. You will also have the ability to deliver sound outcomes with a broad range of stakeholders.
To succeed, you must have highly developed communication and conflict management skills, the ability to work independently and exercise good judgement. Above all, patient care must be at the core of everything you do, committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.
