What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll be involved in a wide range of financial tasks, including:
* Preparing financial statements and compliance reports
* Working with external auditors and tax consultants
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
* Assisting with account analysis and coding
* Contributing to month-end close and management reporting
* Reconciling revenue data, bank statements, and the general ledger
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations and BAS lodgements
* Assisting with FBT and income tax return preparation
* Managing reconciliations for bank, intercompany, and credit card accounts
* Posting journals (accruals, prepayments, etc.)
* Overseeing AP/AR team functions
* Maintaining financial records and documentation
* Ensuring compliance with internal policies
* Supporting ad hoc financial analysis
* Responding to internal and external finance queries
* Helping to improve processes and systems
What You'll Bring:
You will be either fully qualified or part-way through your studies with good experience of Financial Accounting (minimum 3 years).
In addition, we'd like you to have experience of consolidations, and working with financial models; therefore, strong Excel capability is required, as well as experience with data analysis combined with a desire to grow further in this space.
* Fully / part-qualified accountant (CA / CPA)
* Relevant Financial Accounting experience
* Decent exposure to consolidations
* Strong Excel skills (financial models and analysis)
