Pathways Support Officer
The Pathways Support Officer works alongside students to support engagement, wellbeing and participation in education by assisting with the delivery and coordination of college engagement and youth support programs. Under the direction of the Associate Principal and the College Engagement Team, the officer actively engages with students and builds positive, professional relationships to deliver targeted programmes and interventions.
Responsibilities
* Assist with the delivery and coordination of college engagement and youth support programmes.
* Actively engage with students and build positive, professional relationships to deliver targeted programmes and interventions.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to engagement‐focused projects.
* Act as a resource within the college community.
* Maintain accurate record‐keeping, including notes, databases and reports to support planning, monitoring and improved student outcomes.
Qualifications
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of appointment.
* Valid Working With Children Check.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and possession of a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit.
