About the Role
We are seeking an organised and personable Receptionist to join our team in a casual position (8 hours per week), with potential for additional hours.
You will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a vital role in supporting both clients and clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer phone calls and manage appointment scheduling
* Process payments, accounts and health fund claims via HICAPS
* Open and/or close the clinic when required
* Check emails and action or refer to the practice manager
* Maintain a clean and welcoming clinic environment
* Support business development, marketing and service delivery initiatives
* Work collaboratively as a positive team member
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Previous reception or administrative experience (health setting desirable)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong computer literacy and ability to learn practice software (Mindbody)
* High attention to detail and time management ability
* Friendly, professional manner with a proactive attitude
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Be available to work on either Thursday or Friday every week
* Australian work rights are essential for this position
Employment Details
* Casual position – 8 hours per week (one day a week)
* Classified under the Health Professional and Support Services Award
* Flexible availability and willingness to pick up extra hours preferred
