About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the dynamic team at Nightingale Law as a Law Clerk/Paralegal. You will play a vital role in supporting our experienced legal practitioners and contributing to the delivery of high-quality legal services to our diverse client base. This full-time position is based in our Maroochydore office.
What you'll be doing
1. Conducting legal research and analysis to support the preparation of legal documents and advice.
2. Assisting with the drafting and review of various legal agreements, contracts, and other documentation.
3. Maintaining and updating client files and records in accordance with firm procedures.
4. Coordinating and organising client meetings, court appearances, and other legal proceedings.
5. Providing administrative support to the legal team as required.
6. Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your legal knowledge and skills.
What we're looking for
1. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
2. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
3. Proficient in the use of legal research tools and practice management software or willingness to learn.
4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient typing skills and experience in the use of Microsoft 365 software.
6. Suitable for a candidate studying law or with a strong interest in criminal and family law.
