The Visitor Centre assistant is primarily responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and visitor experiences to visitors, event participants, and residents of Greater Shepparton.Key Responsibilities:Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating Council’s values, enthusiasm, and ensuring the delivery of best practice visitor servicing;Possess good knowledge of the local and surrounding areas;Support the promotion of tourism within the Greater Shepparton region;Enhance the visitor experience by providing quality information and assisting volunteers.The successful candidate will demonstrate high-level customer service skills and the ability to work flexibly with paid and volunteer team members. The Visitor Centre operates 7 days a week, so availability for flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, is required.
