We are seeking passionate and experienced support workers to provide a personalised service, assisting clients and their family/caregivers with activities of daily living such as self-care and community participation to achieve goals outlined in their plans.
About the Role
As a support worker, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, using your skills and experience to make a real difference in their lives.
You will be responsible for providing care and support to clients in their own homes, helping them with tasks such as bathing, dressing and meal preparation.
Your role will involve working collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare workers and social workers, to ensure that clients receive the best possible care and support.
About You
* Certificate III in Disability or similar field of study
* Previous experience in a similar role within the disability sector
* High levels of empathy and engagement, with the ability to express yourself professionally
* Demonstrated experience achieving positive outcomes for clients
* Understanding of people with disabilities, particularly mental health and their care requirements
* Attention to detail and excellent observation skills
* Flexible attitude with a mature approach to work
* Current Driver's License with a reliable vehicle (required for transportation)
