Responsibilities
* Use project requirements and acceptance criteria to plan, write, and execute manual system and integration tests while producing standard test artefacts.
* Identify tests and features suitable for automation, and develop, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable automated regression tests and frameworks.
* Apply defect management practices to record, prioritise, and manage defects, consulting with the project team and stakeholders as appropriate.
* Document testing and QA outcomes to support progress reports, formal reporting, and project governance.
* Actively maintain and improve testing practices, and identify improvements in requirements or design processes to increase testing efficiency.
Skills and Experience Required
* Experience developing acceptance criteria related to functional/non-functional requirements and user stories, as well as designing and executing test cases to ensure systems deliver predicted business benefits.
* Ability to provide advice and guidance on the adoption of testing methods and tools, tailoring processes in line with agreed standards.
* Proven track record of selecting the right testing approaches (both manual and automated), collaborating across development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, and reporting on test activities, risks, and issues.
* Experience testing usability and accessibility against standards and guidelines, evaluating prototypes to obtain user feedback, and analysing evaluation data to recommend future actions.

* This role is responsible for manual and automated testing and other quality assurance tasks to ensure that our project team can deliver on required capabilities.
