Job Summary:
The centre requires an Administrative Support Specialist to deliver efficient and effective administrative support for the centre's day-to-day operations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level administrative functions and confidential support for the centre
* Assist other staff on administrative issues, prepare memorandums, reports, and correspondence
* Support and assist in the use and maintenance of office communication and technology systems
* Answer general enquiries at reception, direct visitors as required, screen telephone calls, and redirect enquiries to relevant areas
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail, maintain accurate records
* Procure resources and supplies as necessary to ensure adequate centre resources
* Process human resources paperwork, including timesheets, leave forms, and payroll documentation
* Conduct opening and closing procedures
* Perform banking duties as required
* Maintain a secure and organised filing system, ensuring confidentiality of all handled documents
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of records and data for the Integrated Offender Management system (IOMs)
* Undertake archival activities in accordance with legislative requirements
