Teaching Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our community. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Geography across various stages and have a demonstrated success in delivering outstanding results.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and/or be willing to undertake professional learning to teach the IB MYP. They will also have the capacity to teach Stage 6 Economics and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.
The successful candidate will be proactive in providing an academically challenging, stimulating and safe environment where students are enthused about their studies. They will foster a commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration and sharing of knowledge and information with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
* Teaching a full load of classes as determined by the applicable timetable
* Providing an academically challenging, stimulating and safe environment for students
* Fostering a commitment to continuous improvement, collaboration and sharing of knowledge and information with colleagues
* Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with all stakeholders
* Displaying a strong dedication to customer service
The successful candidate will also be required to engage actively in the wellbeing program of the school, contribute to wellbeing reporting, monitoring/mentoring of student development etc. They will also be expected to attend all identified assemblies, carnivals, meetings and professional learning days as scheduled.
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to maintain strict confidentiality with respect to the school's business and perform any other duties as directed by the principal.
