As a result of exponential growth my client are looking to hire an Executive to join their Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) team in Perth. The Executive role is equivalent to a Manager/Senior Manager in a Consultancy.
As an Executive, you will be an integral member of a team delivering core strategy, risk and compliance solutions to clients across a variety of industries including financial services, energy & resources, corporate and government. Your work will include advising clients on the development and implementation of strategic planning and risk frameworks, the assessment of risk programs, the implementation of controls testing and uplift, as well as the design and implementation of compliance programs.
You will be responsible for delivering strategic ESG and risk solutions, as well as providing effective communication to clients, maintaining key Ashurst and client relationships, and contributing to the growth and development of the Risk Advisory consultancy and ESG team in Australia.
**About You**:
- You have 5-9 years' of specialised ESG/sustainability experience, ideally within a consulting environment, and are comfortable with the common tools, frameworks and standards in this space.
- You're a self-starter who is keen to work in a fast-paced environment that is always evolving and requires you to be proactive, confident and humble.
- You have proven experience delivering high quality work for clients and stakeholders in line with expectations and deadlines, including sustainability programs and projects, such as environmental and climate change strategy or Traditional Owner engagement.
- You're confident in autonomously finding solutions to a range of problems, especially those related to risk management, in a commercial and client focused way.
- You have proven experience in business development including developing go-to-market material and proposals.
- You have experience developing and managing project plans and ensuring project budgets are met.
- You have proven experience coaching and guiding junior members of your team.
