Job Description:
Aero field service engineers play a vital role on-site with customers, leading installation and maintenance activities. They work closely with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical guidance to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
* Oversee the overhaul, troubleshooting, and commissioning of aeroderivative gas turbines.
Key Skills:
* Demonstrate a strong understanding of rotating equipment installation and maintenance, particularly with experience on LM Aero Machinery lines (LM2500, LM 6000, etc).
* Have experience working in mechanical roles within the energy or oil and gas sector (or similar environments).
* Exhibit a customer-centric mindset, with experience leading customers through complex decisions.
* Be skilled at communicating technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical expertise.
* Display a solid awareness of health, safety, and environmental compliance and potential risks.
* Be a motivated self-starter, capable of making key decisions and innovating solutions.
