Our client is seeking a Customer Service Manager to oversee and support the day-to-day operations of a busy customer service department. This role plays a key part in managing people, processes, and performance to ensure business goals are met and clients receive the highest level of service and support.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee the Customer Service team, ensuring staff are performing at their best
* Review and manage workflow, KPIs, and performance goals
* Handle and resolve client complaints and enquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Audit documentation and maintain accurate records and reports
* Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and quality control
* Conduct regular team meetings to support communication, performance, and staff development
* Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
* Support staff training, manage leave requests, and maintain clear performance standards
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Promote a positive, safe, and collaborative team culture
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience in a senior customer service or administrative leadership role
* Demonstrated ability to supervise, coach, and develop teams
* Strong organisational and time management skills — able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities
* High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Diploma in Management or Certificate IV in Business Administration (desirable)
* Experience in process improvement and performance management
