The Employer & The Role Our client is a family-owned and operated company that specialises in feedlot operations, backgrounding, breeding, farming, and logistics, with the company's operations are based in the Condamine and Augathella areas. They are looking for a motivated and versatile Dozer Operator/Truck Driver to join their expanding team on the Augathella breeding block. This full-time role offers a diverse range of duties, with the expectation that you will be home most nights. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Operating a D7E for timber pulling and property development, 972 loader with stick rake and dam desilting, a D10t for cutter-baring, deep ripping or pushing gravel and a 12 H grader for road repairs. Carting cattle back to the feedlot, as well as transporting various inputs (e.g., grain, cottonseed, hay). Operating B-Double and Triple Road Train combinations. Assisting with general cattle work and station duties. Adhering to safe work conditions & ensuring fatigue is managed correctly. Drive vehicle combinations in accordance with regulations and company procedures. Perform thorough pre-start machinery checks for safe operation. Full-time work is available with a flexible schedule to promote a healthy work-life balance. We are ideally looking for the successful candidate to start in May. A brand new, air-conditioned two-bedroom house will be provided at the Augathella breeding block. Additionally, there is the opportunity for a partner to be employed if needed. The Ideal Candidate You must hold a current, valid MC driver's licence and have the following skills and attributes: Proven experience in operating heavy machinery, specifically dozers (D7E experience is highly regarded). Minimum of 3 years of previous experience transporting livestock. Commit to upholding high safety standards and prioritise animal welfare. Proactive with a positive attitude. Adaptable and flexible.
