Functions and Operations Coordinator - NE Hospitality Services

NEHS comprises of The Dispensary Mackay, Byrnes Good Food, Bel Air Motel & additional offsite kitchen management. With multiple venues we pride ourselves on offering high quality food and beverage services and carefully planned and executed functions and events, working collaboratively with various business industries to meet their needs.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
-Planning, execution and coordination of functions & events
-Creation of event budgets
-Management of online ticketing platform
-Creation of run sheets
-Implementation of specials and promotions
-Coordination of suppliers
-Liaising with customers
-Organisation of offsite catering - inclusive of quotes, orders and run sheets
-Collaboration with BOH & FOH staff
-Answering phones and enquiries
-General admin duties
-Utilise a wide variety of booking systems
-Collaboration with team members across each business unit
-Assist with ad-hoc operational and administrative tasks
Preferred but not essential
-Experience with Wordpress and website maintenance
-Knowledge of Adobe suite - inDesign & Illustrator
-Strong Canva skills and a creative flair
-Photography and social media experience
About You
-Minimum of one years' experience in event/functions or similar role
-Tech savvy and a quick learner
-Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Ability to work autonomously, multitask and solve problems on the go
-Posses a current driver's licence
