About the role
The purpose of the Team Leader HIMS Administration is to supervise, coordinate, provide leadership and direction to the Medical Records, Switchboard and Clinical Document Processing Unit teams in achieving a high-quality service in patient information management. The role will report to the Senior Health Information Manager.
In this role you will resolve day-to-day operational issues, review work practices and manage quality activities by maintaining high professional work standards and seeking ongoing ways for improvement
About you
- Demonstrated high level organisational skill including office management, staff supervision and team-work.
- Proven ability to supervise and manage staff in line with quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
- Possess high level oral and written communication skills to enable negotiation and interaction in individual and group situations.
- Demonstrated experience meeting organisational objectives including organisation and delegation of work, solving day to day challenges, meeting deadlines and established priorities
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
