Our client seeks to appoint a competent and experienced Generalist HR Manager to support end to end operations and is critical to organisational transformation.
Description
Reporting to the GM People and Culture, the HR Manager will have a generalist focus, managing people-related activities across the employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, on-boarding and off-boarding and supporting employee well-being. The HR Manager will provide operational leadership to a generalist HR team and operate as a 2IC to the GM People and Culture.
Key responsibilities include ;
5. Oversee and manage the entire operational employee life cycle, including talent acquisition, on-boarding, performance management, employee relations and off-boarding
6. Coach and develop the HR generalist team to build capability
7. Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR-related matters covering the employee life-cycle
8. Provide support and advice on performance/disciplinary matters ensuring compliance and sound interpretation of relevant legislation, policies and procedures
9. Manage workers compensation and injury claims
Profile
10. At least five years experience in a generalist HR Manager position or HR BP with leadership
11. Bachelors degree in human resources or related (essential)
12. Fantastic knowledge of HR functions and best practices
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
14. Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
15. Meticulous attention to detail
16. Comfortable being hands-on
17. Strong coaching and leadership experience
