Staff Compliance Officer (NDIS) – Rostering & Workforce Coordination
We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organised Staff Compliance Officer to join our growing NDIS team. This is a fast-paced and critical role responsible for ensuring 100% workforce compliance while delivering efficient, cost-effective rostering across our disability support services, including 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL).
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-pressure environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about maintaining quality, compliance, and continuity of care for participants.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Audit
* Maintain and monitor staff compliance records (NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, Police Check, First Aid, CPR, mandatory training)
* Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready at all times
* Track expiry dates, renewals, and mandatory training requirements
* Complete pre-employment compliance checks prior to staff commencement
* Support internal audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Rostering & Workforce Coordination
* Develop and manage efficient, compliant rosters, including 24/7 SIL operations
* Allocate shifts based on participant needs, funding, and staff skill mix
* Manage last-minute changes, unplanned absences, and shift replacements
* Ensure rosters are cost-effective and aligned with NDIS funding guidelines
* Maintain high roster accuracy, minimising gaps and ensuring continuity of care
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in NDIS, disability, or community services
* Strong understanding of NDIS compliance and regulatory requirements
* Experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Experience with rostering systems (e.g. ShiftCare, Carelink, or similar)
Mandatory Requirements
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* National Police Check
* Current Driver’s Licence
Desirable
* Experience in Supported Independent Living (SIL) / 24/7 care environments
* Knowledge of the SCHADS Award
* Background in compliance, HR coordination, or workforce planning
* First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
