The Role
We are seeking a positive, enthusiastic, and committed Student Support Officer to join our dedicated Student Services team. This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the wellbeing, engagement, and success of our students.
The successful applicant will ideally have a genuine passion for supporting young people and working collaboratively with staff to promote positive behaviour and student engagement. The ability to work effectively in a busy environment, while managing and prioritising daily tasks, will be highly regarded.
As a Student Support Officer, you will:
- Assist in monitoring, recording, and implementing behaviour and risk management plans.
- Communicate and work closely with teachers, students, parents, and members of the wider community to support student wellbeing and positive outcomes.
- Assist with the entry and maintenance of attendance, behaviour, and case management records using a range of databases, student records, and the school information system.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Display well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships and liaise effectively with staff, students, parents, and the wider school community.
