About the Role:
Ausdrill is seeking a suitably experienced Drill & Blast Estimator to provide commercial and contractual support to sites and prepare tenders to secure future work.
* The successful candidate will ensure compliance/adherence to policies and procedures of Perenti and/or any subsidiaries.
* They will ensure that contractual risks are addressed, and all material risks/issues are communicated to the relevant Operations Manager and to the Manager Contracts for review.
* The Drill & Blast Estimator will prepare pricing for tenders using the relevant tendering procedure.
* They will assist in the development of scopes of works, contract schedules, contract terms and conditions, and related documents.
* The role also involves actively managing and administering existing site contracts for relevant projects.
* The candidate will attend negotiations and related contract and commercial discussions as required.
* They will administer contract data in relevant information management systems.
* Furthermore, the Drill & Blast Estimator will engage with internal and external stakeholders to provide the best possible outcomes.

* Résumé requirements include qualifications in mining engineering or related discipline (preferred).
* A minimum of 5 years' relevant drill experience (essential) and 5 years' relevant blasting design experience (essential).
* Relevant experience in project/contract management is highly desirable.
* The candidate must demonstrate high integrity and take ownership and pride in their work.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, including ability to consult with wide range of stakeholders and forge relationships with internal and external parties.
* Well-developed time management and work prioritisation skills are required.
* Demonstrate high level of knowledge of mining operations, companies, equipment, and suppliers (essential).
* Show strong sense of urgency and ability to meet multiple deadlines (essential).
* Deliver high-quality outputs that are accurate, clearly laid out, and relevant to the audience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
