About The Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high‐quality, person‐centred support to participants. You'll help create a welcoming environment, assist with daily activities, and work alongside participants as they engage in their recovery and case plans.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide a warm, responsive first point of contact for participants and address urgent needs.
* Work with senior staff to identify and respond to potential high‐risk situations.
* Facilitate daily programs and activities, including social groups, Spirit Lifter sessions, and information groups.
* Support participants by providing information that helps assess and address their needs and circumstances.
* Build strong, respectful relationships that encourage self‐determination and active participation.
* Assist participants in implementing their case plans in line with TSA's model of care.
* Conduct activity risk assessments and communicate mitigation strategies to management.
* Maintain clear communication and handovers with staff.
* Perform practical tasks such as light cleaning, preparing rooms, and transporting participants to appointments.
* Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date participant records in accordance with TSA standards.
* Report incidents in required formats.

Qualifications & Experience

* Certificate or diploma relevant to the role.
* Previous experience in the community services sector and/or on‐the‐job training.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* Current driver's licence.
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
