About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Food Services & Events Manager to lead our Front of House, Functions, and Events teams.
This newly created full-time position will be central to delivering consistent, memorable experiences for every member — from relaxed breakfast service to large-scale functions and international events such as the 2026 World Bowls Indoor Championship.
The role blends hands-on leadership with strong administrative and operational oversight. You'll be actively involved on the floor, coaching and supporting your team to uphold service excellence, while also managing training, rostering, event planning, and financial performance.
Working closely with our Executive Chef and Operations Team, you'll drive a culture of continuous improvement, consistency, and 'best in class' standards across all areas of food service and event delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Lead and manage the Front of House and Events teams to deliver exceptional service.
* Oversee all aspects of food services, including functions, and major events.
* Coordinate event logistics, from setup through to delivery, ensuring seamless execution.
* Oversee rosters and labour budgets to drive operational efficiency and achieve financial targets.
* Implement and oversee in-house training and development programs.
* Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Operations team leaders to maintain operational excellence.
* Contribute to strategic planning as our Club continues its exciting growth trajectory.
About You
You're a natural leader who thrives in fast-paced hospitality environments and takes pride in creating memorable experiences. You're just as comfortable working a busy floor shift as you are managing budgets, schedules, and event logistics.
You'll bring:
* Proven leadership experience in hospitality or event management (minimum 3 years).
* Strong financial and operational acumen.
* Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
* A hands-on, can-do attitude and commitment to teamwork.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days.
