Exciting opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses to assist with pre-admission of residents to our BRAND NEW aged care home, South Grafton Community Aged Care located in Grafton NSW!
If you are confident in explaining clinical details to our incoming residents and their families and can accurately document their clinical needs, then this role is for you!
Initially this role will be Monday to Friday for 6 months. You can then apply for permanent RN shifts or any other clinical role available after completing this 6 month pre-admissions role.
Skills & Requirements for this Role:
* Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
* Experience in assessments and developing care plans
* Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope
* Be able to effectively communicate complex care plan needs to incoming residents and their representatives.
* Create and update care plans to reflect developing needs of our residents
* An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
* An understanding of Aged Care Funding Instrument (AN-NAC)
* Excellent time management skills
* Demonstrated well developed computer and documentation skills
* Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
* Ability to work autonomously
