OverviewThe Australian Bureau of Statistics is looking to fill two ICT Senior Systems Administrators (APS6) roles in the Strategic Projects Branch.
You will leverage your technical and leadership skills to collaborate with technical teams and suppliers.
Your contributions will support the delivery of strategic projects for ABS business areas and external stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDeliver ABS business outcomes by participating in multi-disciplinary agile teamsLiaise with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to resolve critical issues and inform decisionsApply your technical leadership experience to mentor staff, enhance organizational capabilities, and support Executive-level staff in managing the sectionPrepare and maintain thorough documentationWhat we are looking for (selection criteria)To be suitable you should have most or all of the following skills, qualities and experience:A methodical approach and ability to solve highly technical problems.Staff management and/or technical coaching and mentoring abilities.Proven expertise across several of the following platforms, services, and technologies:Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops (CVAD)Nutanix HypervisorMicrosoft AzureMicrosoft Configuration Manager (MCM), Microsoft IntuneGroup Policy, Active Directory, PowerShell ScriptingApplication Packaging with AdminStudio, PSADTPatch My PC EnterpriseMicrosoft Application Virtualization (App-V, MSIX)How to applyTo apply, complete an online application form on the ABS e-recruitment system.You will need to upload your current resume, provide referee details and respond to the following:In no more than 500 words, provide two examples which best demonstrates your relevant experience to the advertised position.
