We are seeking a talented Heavy Diesel Field Service Technician to join our Laverton branch, primarily supporting our Rail team with repairs and maintenance, while also assisting across our On-Highway and Power Generation departments.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on-call roster
Diagnose and repair engines
Inspect and replace components as required
Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic (to Australian standards)
Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of rail heavy diesel products and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
Valid Australian Driver's license required

QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
Full Time / 38 hours per week
Morning Shift (6:00am – 14:06pm)
Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
All your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
Domestic Relocation from across Australia
may
be offered for the right candidate
The successful candidate will be required to participate in an afterhours on-call roster every 6 weeks
Local Valid Drivers License is required
