We currently have an opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator – Assets to join our Assets team on a permanent full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities as Facilities Coordinator – Assets…
* Ensure the effective management, maintenance and compliance of Council buildings and community facilities
* Lead proactive and reactive maintenance programs
* Oversee contractor performance to ensure high-quality service delivery
* Provide specialist advice to support long-term asset sustainability, optimisation, and lifecycle cost improvements
* Contributes to safe, efficient, and compliant community assets through robust risk management, auditing, and continuous improvement practices.

* Permanent full-time role, 35 hours per week
* Commencing annual salary from $95,538 to $105,331
(salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
* Annual performance-based progression opportunity to earn up to $116,127

What you'll need to be successful in the role...
You will be well organised and have the ability to manage contractors and procurement processes. Your high level of attention to detail will allow you to accurately develop contracts and maintain records. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be well-developed, and you will have strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. In addition to this you will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, Building, or a related field
* A minimum of four years experience relevant to the position
* Experience in building and facility management, including budget preparation, analysis, and administration
* Knowledge and experience in fire safety certification processes and relevant National Construction Codes, Building Codes, and Australian Standards
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices, procedures, and legislative requirements
* Proficiency with MS Office and asset management systems.
