Blenners Transport is seeking a motivated Operations Manager to join our team based in our Townsville depot. The successful applicant would ideally have sound knowledge in transport operations including load planning and BFM. Refrigeration experience would also be highly regarded. Knowledge and experience with a range of computer-based programs is also essential.

Key Responsibilities will include:
* Provide supervision, guidance, and support to all depot team members.
* Assist in the training, development, and performance management of staff.
* Act as Depot Manager during periods of absence, assuming full managerial responsibilities.
* Relieve operational roles during staff leave or absences as required.
* Supervise and monitor all inbound, outbound, and local depot operations.
* Ensure smooth and efficient running of warehouse and dock areas.
* Optimise daily workflows and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
* Participate in weekend operations roster.
* Develop, coordinate, and monitor all operational rosters, including weekend rosters for Local Drivers, Top End, and Shuttle services, ensuring compliance with fatigue regulations.
* Engage proactively with internal and external customers to ensure timely delivery of freight.
* Assist with ad-hoc freight or rail box deliveries when necessary, ensuring compliance with driver legislation.
* Monitor major account deliveries to ensure timeslot adherence and timely unloading.
* Ensure all freight moves meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
Role Requirements
* 3–5 years in transport or logistics operations, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Experience with refrigerated freight, fleet coordination, and multi-depot logistics is highly beneficial.
* Certificate III - TLIF0005 – Apply a fatigue risk management system.
* Certificate III - TLIF0006 – Administer a fatigue risk management system.
* Experience with Microsoft Office software.
* Possession of a High-Risk Forklift Ticket – TLILIC0003.
* Possession of a current HC/MC Drivers Licence.
