Talent Right has partnered exclusively with Autoline to appoint an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead their operations in Canning Vale, WA.
If you're a practical leader who thrives on bringing structure, driving results, and coaching teams to success, this is your opportunity to take full ownership of a warehouse function that’s ready for improvement.
The Company
Autoline is a proudly Australian, family-owned business that has been a trusted name in the supply of 4WD and light vehicle parts since 1974. With branches in Perth, Kalgoorlie, Adelaide, and Mount Isa, Autoline supports some of Australia’s toughest industries—mining, civil, mechanical maintenance, and vehicle hire—with unmatched reliability.
They are specialists in Land Cruiser and Hilux parts, offering everything from suspension and brakes to driveline and air-con components. Their national reach and exclusive distribution of Takeo—a rugged parts line engineered for mining environments—make Autoline a leader in this niche sector.
The business operates under the EOS/90 framework, which brings structure, accountability, and alignment across departments—perfect for leaders who value clear roles and team engagement.
The Opportunity
This is a key leadership role that has been reinstated to stabilise and future-proof Autoline’s warehouse operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll lead a team of 8–9 staff across inbound and outbound functions in the Canning Vale branch and provide oversight to smaller interstate branches remotely (no regular travel required).
You’ll be trusted to lead day-to-day operations, solve issues at the root cause, and implement changes that improve safety, accuracy, and efficiency. With the support of a data-driven Operations Manager, you’ll help lift performance while creating a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, bringing clarity to chaos, and coaching a team toward shared success.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading, coaching, and supporting a warehouse team of 8–9 staff
* Identifying and fixing stock integrity issues and improving dispatch workflows
* Creating clear daily structure—toolbox talks, WHS, and shift planning
* Working with sales and purchasing to ensure smooth cross-functional flow
* Supporting interstate dispatch operations (Mount Isa, Kalgoorlie, Adelaide)
* Implementing structured improvements and standard operating procedures
* Introducing practical systems like 5S or visual management (desirable, not required)
* Monitoring KPIs like DIFOT, inventory accuracy, and team productivity
* Overseeing warehouse budgets and assets
* Supporting WHS practices and leading from the front
A Week in the Role Could Look Like:
* Running a morning huddle to set priorities and energise the team
* Resolving a dispatch issue by fixing the process, not just the symptom
* Coaching a team member through new responsibilities and building accountability
* Collaborating with sales to better align stock movement with demand
* Improving layout of fast-moving SKUs to improve picking efficiency
* Working with the Warehouse Supervisor to lift standards and engagement
What We’re Looking For Must-Haves (Non-Negotiables):
* Proven experience leading teams in a warehouse environment
* Track record of owning results and driving improvements
* Experience personally implementing positive change or process improvements
* Intermediate level skills in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data entry support)
* Strong understanding of warehouse safety and OHS leadership
What’s on Offer
* Competitive salary package
* Laptop and access to a work-use vehicle
* Strong leadership support with space to lead your way
* The opportunity to take ownership of the warehouse and define the “how”
* No regular travel—interstate site coordination handled remotely
* A humble, values-driven culture where results speak louder than flash
