Our client in the education sector is seeking an IT Support Engineer for a 6-week contract to assist with day-to-day technical support tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform basic computer troubleshooting and support
2. Replace and swap out hardware as needed
3. Manage and resolve tasks using the internal ticketing system
4. Follow direction and guidance from the broader support team when addressing technical issues
5. Work independently where necessary to complete assigned tasks
6. Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, using plain language to explain technical issues and solutions
7. Provide advice on technical methods and best practices
8. Demonstrate initiative in meeting objectives and progressing work
9. Experience with Microsoft Intune is a plus, but not essential
