About the Role
As the Advisor - FCC Policies & Frameworks and Risk Assessments, you will support the Financial Crime Compliance department by developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures to mitigate financial crime risks.
Your responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, drafting policy documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will collaborate with the Senior Partner, FCC and Policy Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a robust and effective financial crime compliance framework. Additionally, you will monitor compliance, report findings, and assist in training programs on financial crime policies and procedures.
About you
You are detail-oriented with a strong understanding of financial crime compliance obligations, including the AML/CTF Act and AUSTRAC guidance. You have experience supporting financial services and banking sectors, particularly in financial crime compliance.
Your background includes conducting AML/CTF risk assessments and managing regulatory changes. You excel at building relationships with stakeholders, including senior management and regulators. Your analytical skills help you proactively identify issues and develop business-oriented solutions. You are adaptable, collaborative, and committed to raising awareness of financial crime risks across the organization.
