We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive individual to join us as a Tyre Technician. Your salary is negotiable depending upon your level of experience. If you're mechanically minded, can solve problems and have an ability to provide exceptional customer service, this role may be the one for you.
Your duties will include:
* Performing exceptional, safe and speedy tyre replacements.
* Competent understanding of LV, ATV, AG, TBR tyres.
* Performing tyre diagnostics (e.g. primary condition checks such as age, pressure and tread depths).
* Perform checks and adjustments (e.g. wheel balance, wheel alignments and tyre maintenance services).
* Puncture Repairs.
* Assist workshop staff with other day-to-day tasks.
* Assist customers when required.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and attributes:
* Current drivers licence – manual and automatic (essential).
* Prepared to work Monday to Friday.
* Willingness to adhere to policies and procedures.
* At least 2 years experience in tyre fitting and wheel balancing.
* Good communication skills (verbal and written).
* Can do attitude, punctual and reliable.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong customer service focus.
* Pride in workmanship.
* Well presented.
