Overview
NTT Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior ACI Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on delivering low-level designs, infrastructure deployment, and logical configuration activities for complex Cisco ACI environments. The ideal candidate will have hands‐on experience with multi-site fabric designs, deployments, integration, and post-deployment support. This is a hybrid position based in Sydney, with some onsite attendance required to support infrastructure delivery. Melbourne candidates may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and update detailed low-level design documentation for ACI fabrics, including tenants, VRFs, routing, inter-site, and out-of-band networks.
* Deploy ACI infrastructure components such as spine/leaf switches, inter-site networks, and APICs, including build, commissioning, and software upgrades.
* Configure logical elements within ACI fabrics including multi-site fabrics, multi-tenancy, multi-VRFs, L3Out, bridge domains, endpoint groups (EPGs), contracts, and service graphs.
* Implement routing configurations within VRFs, including BGP and static routes.
* Integrate ACI fabrics with external systems such as firewalls (e.g., Cisco FTDs), load balancers (e.g., F5), and other external routed/non-routed networks.
* Support post-deployment activities including defect resolution in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in Cisco ACI design, deployment, and configuration for large-scale multi-site fabrics.
* Strong knowledge of ACI infrastructure components: spine/leaf architecture, APICs, and software upgrade processes.
* Comprehensive understanding of logical ACI elements including tenants, VRFs, L3Outs, EPGs, and service graphs.
* Hands‐on experience with routing protocols in VRFs including BGP and static routing.
* Experience integrating ACI with firewalls, load balancers, and external networks.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve post-deployment defects in coordination with vendors and technical teams.
* Australian citizenship or eligibility to work on-site within Australia, preferably based in Sydney or Melbourne (due to laptop provision requirements).
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience collaborating with automation teams to streamline exchange and deployment of ACI configuration data.
What We Offer
* Opportunity to work on high-impact networking projects within a leading global technology company.
* Hybrid work environment supporting work-life balance.
