Join Moray & Agnew's Workers Compensation team in Perth as a Law Graduate/Junior Lawyer, gaining hands-on experience in a leading WA practice.
Your Role
Here's what you will be doing:
Assisting in the management of files in a leading WA workers' compensation practice
Drafting legal documents and correspondence
Assisting in the preparation of advice to clients and developing opinion and pleading writing skills
Preparing court documents for litigated matters
Attending directions hearings and chamber summons with early exposure to advocacy
Assisting with preparing matters for trial
Liaising with clients, including assisting in obtaining instructions and at conferences
About You
The company is looking for:
Completion of a law degree, with postgraduate studies and PLT in progress or completed, or admission as a lawyer
Motivation, enthusiasm, and passion for a career in law
Strong academic results and critical thinking skills
Attention to detail, practical problem-solving, and strategic thinking
Enthusiasm for learning and ability to multitask efficiently
Ability to meet deadlines and work paperless while maintaining electronic records
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
