About the role
Banana Shire Council currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced labourer to join our progressive Moura Maintenance Team, where you'll benefit from ongoing training and development opportunities to support your growth and success.
You will be highly regarded if you have experience
* Maintenance of public amenities and park areas for the community
* Demonstrated experience performing general labouring duties, including concrete works, and the ability to maintain small plant.
* All aspects of lawn and garden maintenance
* Sound level of literacy, numeracy and oral communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment under minimal supervision
* Sound understanding of and commitment to EEO and WHS principles and practices
Compulsory qualifications
* QLD class 'C' drivers licence
* General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) White Card (or equivalent
Desirable qualifications
* Plant/Equipment Competencies e.g. Roller / Loader / Excavator / Grader etc
* Traffic Management Implementation Plan and Traffic Controller Licence is desirable
