The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to Medical Services, ensuring trust, effective communication, and efficient patient-centred care. They will promote clinical governance, overseeing systems and processes that uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and risk management.
* Clinical performance oversight, peer review, and addressing variations in practice.
* Accreditation, credentialing, and scope of practice in alignment with relevant bylaws.
* Root cause analysis, clinical risk mitigation, and complaint management.
The ideal candidate will be a registered Medical Practitioner with AHPRA, holding a Fellowship of a Royal Australasian College. They will bring a proven track record of clinical leadership, governance expertise, and the ability to achieve outstanding patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and service satisfaction in acute healthcare settings.
