About the Role
We're seeking highly skilled Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our elite teams at various sites in the Bowen Basin, Queensland, including Saraji, Goonyella, Caval Ridge, and Peak Downs.
In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in the breakdown and maintenance of heavy surface mining equipment, working on a 7/7 rotating roster. We offer FIFO options from Brisbane, Cairns, or Townsville, as well as BIBO/DIDO to the Bowen Basin.
Your role will involve, but is not limited to:
* Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on heavy surface mining equipment.
* Diagnosing faults and conducting repairs and servicing of diesel engines and components.
* Supporting continuous improvement through procedure updates and root cause analysis.
* Contributing to a safe and collaborative team environment.
About You
* Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu or Liebherr equipment is desirable.
* Prior exposure to mining or similar heavy industries is preferred.
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
* Willing to work a 7/7 rotating day-night roster.
